I-TRAP is Prepaired for "Unknown IE Vulnerability" |

In less than 12 hrs. I-TRAP Internet Security Services have armed themselves against the much talked about "Unknown IE Threat" that seems to be propagating across the globe. Webservers are infecting visitors who are using Internet Explorer to view even well known and trusted networks. How this latest attack is affecting the actual webserver is still under scrutiny. Even Firewalled networks are allowing the infection to happen since even trusted websites are part of normal Port 80 traffic. I-TRAP's NOC staff has alerted customer that the signature is now updated in the system and the IDS service has tuned for this anomaly and variants associated with the infection. More as the threat develops....... |
